aeroCOMPASS uses FIPS 197 Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) for the transfer of electronic files.

AES-256 has been approved by NIST for encryption of sensitive unclassified information/data, including:

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU)
